For which services do we most often forget the password?

Methodology:

The study explored frequently forgotten passwords by examining user search behavior. We collected keywords associated with password resetting and determined how often users searched for such information on Google each month. To quantify the popularity of the keywords, we used Ahrefs data. According to Ahrefs, search volume is an average monthly number of searches for a keyword over the last 12 months of data. Then, we ranked the most commonly forgotten passwords based on the number of users and the total volume of searches for each service. All the data on the number of users has been collected from publicly available sources such as statista.com, and other official websites.

Which category of passwords do we forget most frequently?

Methodology:

During the study we used Google search data to figure out which websites or applications had people scratching their heads about their passwords the most. We closely examined categories such as social media, email, and entertainment to see which ones had the most searches for forgotten passwords.
